Dr Wee conveys condolences to Palanivel's family

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has extended his condolences to the family of former MIC president Datuk Seri G. Palanivel, who passed away at Hospital Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday (June 17) morning.

"The late Palanivel was a prominent political figure who contributed significantly to the nation, particularly during his tenure as Natural Resources and Environment minister," the MCA president wrote on Facebook.

"His passing is a great loss to the country's landscape, especially to MIC, a component of Barisan Nasional, which he once led with full commitment and dedication.

"May his family be granted strength and fortitude during this time of sorrow," he added.
