Woman remanded for threatening co-wife with nude photos

MELAKA: The Magistrate’s Court has remanded an insurance agent for two days on Monday (June 2) over allegations of threatening and distributing nude photos of her co-wife, a teacher, in March.

The 53-year-old suspect's remand began on Monday, following Magistrate Nurul Asyikin Rosli's approval of the investigating officer's request.

This order aims to complete investigations under Sections 507 and 509 of the Penal Code.

Sources indicate the mother of four was arrested around 10.15pm on Sunday at Kuala Lumpur International Airport by a police team.

"The woman was previously wanted for investigation after her co-wife, a 47-year-old teacher, filed a report," the source revealed.

The teacher lodged a report after her father in Klebang informed her of receiving a letter with nude photos of her and her husband, the source added.

Concerns over reputation damage and the suspect's repeated harassment led the complainant to file a report on March 27.

Meanwhile, the suspect's lawyer, Sheikh Ikhzan Sheikh Salleh, opposed the four-day remand application at the Ayer Keroh Court Complex courtyard.
