Nik Nazmi pledges loyalty despite resignation

PETALING JAYA: Despite resigning from his Cabinet post, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad insists he will never betray the party.

"We resigned from our posts. We will never betray the party," said the outgoing Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Minister in a post on X on Thursday (May 29).

On Wednesday (May 28), Nik Nazmi submitted his resignation as a Cabinet Minister.

This followed Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli's earlier resignation.

The duo resigned after failing to retain their party posts in the recently concluded PKR polls.
