Boy dies in fall from seventh floor of Putrajaya housing block

PUTRAJAYA: A boy aged two years and eight months has died after falling from the seventh floor of a public housing unit in Precinct 9 here.

Putrajaya police chief ACP Aidi Sham Mohamed said police received a report about the incident at 2.24 pm on Saturday (May 17).

"A doctor on duty at the Putrajaya Hospital emergency ward said that a child had been brought in covered in blood.

"The child was brought in by his father. A medical examination was conducted on the child, and it was confirmed that he had died," he said in a statement on Saturday.

Aidi Sham said that the case is still under investigation and a post-mortem examination will be conducted on Sunday (May 18). – Bernama
