Fuel prices May 15-21: RON97 petrol, diesel down 3 sen, RON95 unchanged

KUALA LUMPUR: The retail prices of RON97 petrol nationwide and diesel in the peninsula will go down by 3 sen per litre to RM3.07 and RM2.77 respectively from May 15 to 21.

The Finance Ministry, in a statement on Wednesday (May 14), said the retail price of RON95 petrol will remain unchanged at RM2.05 per litre while diesel will stay at 2.15 per litre in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan over the same period.

The statement said the prices were fixed based on the weekly retail pricing of petroleum products using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism formula.

"The Government will take appropriate measures to safeguard the welfare and well-being of the people," it said.
