KUALA LUMPUR: The disappearance of Pamela Ling, 42, who was scheduled to give her statement at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), is being investigated as a kidnapping, according to police.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa said that the woman had been abducted on April 9.

“She was scheduled to give a statement regarding an investigation by the MACC. The MACC had also confirmed her absence,” he said.
