MALAYSIA SETS UP FIELD HOSPITAL IN MYANMAR AS HUMANITARIAN MISSION


This HMM level two field hospital is capable of conducting various critical treatments, including surgical procedures and comprehensive patient care.

PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) officially established a Malaysian Field Hospital (HMM), via the Humanitarian Aid Operation (Op Starlight III) on April 21, in Myanmar’s Sagaing district – an area most affected by the April 17 earthquake.

The HMM, which is also managed by the Op Starlight III team, is a level two field hospital with a capacity of 20 beds.
