Over RM80k worth of diesel seized

KUANTAN: The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN) seized 14,870 litres of diesel worth over RM80,000 during Ops Tiris 4.0 at a construction site here.

Pahang KPDN chief enforcement officer Md Zaki Abd Samad said initial investigations revealed that the diesel stored in a skid tank was believed to have been used for operating construction machinery.

“The company failed to produce a valid storage permit for the site, despite holding a permit for a separate location,” he said, Bernama reported.

Md Zaki said Pahang KPDN took stern action by seizing the diesel and related equipment under the Control of Supplies Act 1961 (Act 122).
