Cops waiting for toxicology report on man found dead outside KL entertainment outlet


KUALA LUMPUR: The exact cause of death of a man found dead near an entertainment outlet here will be determined with a full toxicology report, says the police.

At a press conference Monday (April 21) at the police contingent headquarters, Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa said that the 34-year-old man had been at the outlet in Jalan Sultan Ismail to celebrate a birthday.

“He then used his vape and complained that he felt hot. He returned to his car and his body was found later,” he said.

Comm Rusdi added that the victim was found dead on Sunday (April 20) morning with foam in his mouth.

No evidence of foul play was found.

“A post mortem was conducted on Sunday and we are awaiting the full toxicology report to determine the exact cause of death,” he said.
