Dr Wee’s Raya open house sees record turnout in Ayer Hitam


SRI PETALING: A festive spirit filled the night as a record crowd turned up for Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house in Ayer Hitam on Friday (April 18) night.

The event saw a significantly larger turnout than in previous years, with the celebration drawing people from all walks of life to mark Syawal with joy and gratitude.

In a Facebook post, the Ayer Hitam MP said the response was overwhelming.

“It was so joyful tonight to see so many people attending the Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House of Ayer Hitam Parliament. The turnout tonight was truly extraordinary compared to previous years.

“People from all walks of life celebrated Syawal with joy and full of gratitude. Those less fortunate were also celebrated.

“Thank you to everyone who came. Apologies for any shortcomings,” he said.
