Over 1,000 cops to be deployed for Xi Jinping's visit


KUALA LUMPUR: Over one thousand police officers and personnel will be deployed to maintain security throughout Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit to Malaysia.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa told a press conference at city police headquarters here Monday (April 14) that security will be heightened during the visit of a leader of a superpower.
