PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia has been successfully elected to the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) for the term 2026-2030 during the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Meeting in New York on April 4, according to a statement from the Foreign Ministry.
It said Malaysia’s four-year term will commence at the 60th CPD Session in 2026 and conclude at the end of the 63rd CPD Session in 2030.
