PM Anwar attends Rural and Regional Development Ministry ‘Ihya Ramadan’ event


PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Thursday (March 13) attended the Ihya Ramadan programme hosted by the Rural and Regional Development Ministry.

He arrived at the ministry at 12.05pm and was welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister and Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi with Deputy Minister Datuk Rubiah Wang in attendance.

Also present were Chief Secretary to the Govenment Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar and ministry secretary-general Datuk Muhd Khair Razman Mohamed Annuar.

The programme began with a meeting between the Prime Minister and the ministry’s top management on its key results areas.

Anwar then proceeded to attend a religious talk by Ustaz Asri Hassan from Mara titled 'Ramadan Yang Sempurna' before joining ministry staff for Zuhur prayers.

The Ihya Ramadan programme served as a platform for the Prime Minister to engage with the ministry while embracing the spiritual essence of Ramadan through knowledge-sharing sessions. - Bernama
