SUNGAI PETANI: The Kedah Immigration Department busted a human trafficking syndicate operated by two locals in a special operation here Tuesday (March 12).
In the 7.10pm raid at a transit house in Kuala Muda, 18 illegal immigrants from Myanmar, all of Rohingya ethnicity and aged between 12 and 40 years old, were apprehended.
