Malaysia committed to leading Asean address cross-border crime, says Zahid

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia is committed to leading Asean in addressing various forms of cross-border crime, including online fraud, human trafficking, and money laundering, says Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

He said as the Chairman of the Asean Ministerial Meeting on Transnational Crime and the Asean Senior Officials Meeting on Transnational Crime this year, Malaysia is not only acting as a facilitator but also taking a leading role in regional crime-fighting efforts.
