Suria FM revamps DJ line-up and programming

PETALING JAYA: Suria FM is introducing several significant changes to its line-up of DJs and programming.

DJ Lin, who has been managing dual roles as General Manager and host of the "Suria Cinta" segment, will now focus more on management responsibilities.

"The 'Suria Cinta' slot will be replaced with a new segment and host," said a statement from Suria FM.

However, DJ Lin will continue to host "Suria Cinta" every weekend—Saturday and Sunday from 8pm to 1am—to delight her loyal fans.

Starting this May, Iman will take over the new segment "Healing Di Suria," airing from 8pm to midnight every Monday to Friday.

This interactive segment will feature a relaxed and trend-driven approach aimed at capturing the interest of the younger generation.

To strengthen Suria FM’s weekend line-up, Suraya Borhan will host "Suria Hujung Minggu" (6am to 10am) and "Hello Suria" (2pm to 7pm).

"With her extensive experience as an announcer and producer, we are confident she will bring fresh energy to weekend segments."

"This change aligns with Suria FM’s strategic direction to maintain strong weekend programming."

To attract more young and new listeners to "Morning Morning Suria," Kai Hassan will join Ajak and Datuk Fizz Fairuz.

"Their strong chemistry is expected to bring a fresh and dynamic vibe to the show."

"The combination of their unique and energetic personalities promises engaging content to kickstart listeners' mornings."

Cik Piah will continue to host "Gaya Suria" and "Muzik Top Suria" from 10am to 3pm, Monday through Friday.

Sharifah Shahirah, popularly known as Rara, and Chiwan will remain as hosts of "Suria Petang" from 3pm to 7pm, Monday through Friday.

These strategic changes are aimed at ensuring that Suria FM remains a top choice for listeners, offering fresh and dynamic content while maintaining its signature appeal.
