SUNGAI BULOH: A nursery teacher who is suspected of abusing an 11-month old baby boy will be charged in court on Friday (Dec 20).

Sungai Buloh district police chief Supt Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor said that the 24-year-old woman, who works as a nursery teacher in Puncak Alam, will be charged with assaulting and abusing the child.

"The remand for the nursery teacher will be extended until this Friday. After the remand period ends, the suspect will be immediately charged in court," he told Sinar Harian on Wednesday (Dec 18).

The woman was detained for allegedly assaulting and abusing an 11-month-old baby boy in the nursery.
