No inappropriate footage of rapper Zamaera recorded during MBSJ raid, say police

SUBANG JAYA: No enforcement agency officer was found to have recorded any inappropriate footage during a raid at a massage parlour here, say police.

This comes following allegations by rapper Zamaera, whose real name is Sharifah Zamaera Syed Zafilen Al Edros, who claimed that she was allegedly filmed in secret while she was having a massage at a parlour in SS14.

Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said the raiding team had been provoked during the incident and that Zamaera had failed to comply with instructions to show identification.

“Investigations showed that the complainant (who was part of the raiding team) and other officers were provoked by Zamaera and that she had used her phone to record them during the raid. Both the complainant and Zamaera then inspected the phone of the officer accused of filming her and found no photo or videos,” he said in a statement on Saturday (Dec 7).

Both the complainant and Zamaera lodged a police report after the incident went viral on social media.

ACP Wan Azlan said that a complete investigation will be conducted on both reports.
