Dr Wee visits families left homeless by fire in Johor

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong visited eight families left homeless after a fire ravaged their houses.

“(I) visited the site of a fire that left eight families and 33 victims homeless in Kg Lapis Semarang, Ayer Hitam.

“I later visited the fire victims who are now housed at the temporary relief centre and extended assistance to them,” the MCA president said in a Facebook post on Friday (Dec 6).

He also prayed for the victims to remain resilient amidst the challenges they were facing.

“May they be granted resilience and strength to endure this difficult time,” said Dr Wee, who is also the Ayer Hitam MP.
