Melaka cops seek public help in search for missing businesswoman


JASIN: Melaka police are attempting to locate a 22-year-old businesswoman who went missing from her home at Taman Bemban Height here on Dec 1.

Jasin OCPD Deputy Supt Ahmad Jamil Radzi said the 43-year-old mother of R.Niveshini had lodged a report at Bemban police station at 6pm on Dec 1 on her sudden disappearance.

"Preliminary investigations by my officers discovered the victim had probably followed a friend.

"However, we are investigating all angles including the status of her friend," he said on Wednesday (Dec 4).

DSP Ahmad Jamil said the investigation officers also updated him that the victim had no misunderstanding with any of her family members.

"The victim is involved in henna artistry business and her family members are concerned over her safety," he said.

DSP Ahmad Jamil added that the victim is 160cm tall and has long hair.

He urged anyone with any relevant information to contact the nearest police station or contact Sjn Major Nadzri Md Noor at 019-721 7217 or 06-521 7240.
