Dr Wee hopes GCET Summit will bring benefits to Malaysia


KUALA LUMPUR: MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has expressed his gratitude for being invited to the Global Chinese Economic and Technology Summit (GCET) which concluded on Tuesday (Nov 26).

“I am grateful and deeply appreciate the invitation to this summit and hope that the positive outcomes will bring benefits, particularly to Malaysia.

"The event was officiated by Senior Minister and Chairman of the Trade Policy Advisory Board and Cambodia Organising Committee Dr Sok Siphana," he said in his Facebook page.

Dr Wee said the one-day event, which was being held at hotel in Phnom Penh, drew to a close with a dinner and an award presentation ceremony organised by the Cambodian government.

He said the organiser also entertained guests from various countries with captivating local cultural performances.
