On Nov 11, acting Perak police chief Deputy Comm Zulkafli Sariaat said in a press conference that the accused was believed to have caused the death of his aunt, whose decomposing body was found inside a house here on Sunday (Nov 10) because she was overbearing.

He said the accused has lost his patience with the victim and attacked her before keeping her body in a room of the house at Taman Puteri Lindungan Bintang in Pasir Puteh here.

"They were staying together. The suspect lost his patience, got angry and punched the woman repeatedly until she fell down a flight of stairs," he added.

He said with the accused thinking she was just unconscious, the woman's body was then put inside a room, and was found dead by the police on Sunday (Nov 10) after receiving a call at about 8.30am by the victim's brother.

DCP Zulkafli said the victim's body is believed to have been decomposing in the room for four days.
