Special award for veteran film producer Raymond Wong


FAMED Hong Kong comedian and filmmaker Raymond Wong Pak-Ming will be honoured with a special award at the Asia Pacific Film Festival to be held from Nov 29 to Dec 1, Oriental Daily reported.

He will receive the Asia Pacific Outstanding Filmmaker Honorary Award for his extensive work in show business.

The film festival will take place in Genting Highlands.

Upon receiving the news, Wong expressed his gratitude.

He also confirmed his attendance at the film festival to personally accept the award.

Wong, 78, has been part of the film industry for over 40 years as an actor, director, screenwriter, producer and film company founder.

He is regarded as one of Hong Kong’s most notable film producers.
