Dad of Ulu Tiram attack suspect denies supporting IS


KUALA LUMPUR: The father of the suspect in the Ulu Tiram police station attack in May has been charged at the High Court here with three counts of promoting the violent ideology of Islamic State (IS), providing support and possessing firearms linked to the terrorist group.

Radin Imran Radin Mohd Yassin, 62, pleaded not guilty after the charges were read to him before Justice Azhar Abdul Hamid, who then set Nov 15 for case management.
