Missing Penampang teenage girl returns home


KOTA KINABALU: A 15-year-old girl, who was reported missing in Penampang, had apparently returned to her mother's house in Sandakan.

Nor Sahira Sakinah Abdullah, who was staying with her aunt at Taman Regency in Penampang, was reported missing on Wednesday (Sept 11).

Penampang district police chief Deputy Supt Sammy Newton said the aunt retracted her report at 3.16pm on Friday (Sept 13) after learning that the girl had returned home in Sandakan.

“She had gone back to her mother's house in Sandakan,“ said Newton.
