Nidza Afham, has been reported missing after being last seen jogging around Stadium Klang at approximately 8pm

SHAH ALAM: A 23-year-old singer, Nidza Afham, has been reported missing after he was last seen jogging around Stadium Klang at approximately 8pm.

His sister, Nur Irfahanie Mokhtar, 30, told Sinar Daily that Afham went missing on Tuesday night (Aug 13) after his girlfriend was unable to contact him. His last known location was near the Jambatan Klang.

During the search by his family, including his younger sibling and mother, two towing workers who initially thought they were there to tow a car joined the effort. They eventually found Afham’s phone and wallet near the new bridge.

"The search extended to nearby mosques, hospitals, and clinics. At 3am, the family decided to file a police report," Nur Irfahanie said when contacted on Wednesday (Aug 14).

"The report was completed between 4am and 5am, and investigations are currently ongoing," she added.

Irfahanie stressed that Afham is known to jog in the Stadium Klang area frequently, and there are no signs of a dispute or involvement of a loan shark.

While the police report has been filed, the family is still searching around Klang and has yet to receive any updates from the authorities.

Afham, a 23-year-old singer and the fifth of seven siblings, is known for his single ‘Ternyata Bukan Aku’. He gained fame for his song covers on social media, particularly on his YouTube channel, where his cover of 'Rindu Setengah Mati' has nearly seven million views.

He also appeared on I Can See Your Voice Season 3. Living in Shah Alam, Nidza previously studied Sports Management at UniKL and now works with his older brother while maintaining an active part-time presence on social media in the singing industry.
