Sg Bakap polls: DAP acknowledges voters' choice

PETALING JAYA: The Democratic Action Party (DAP) respects the voters' choice in the Sungai Bakap by-election and will strive to do better, says its Parliamentary Leader Nga Kor Ming.

"As a political party driven by ideals and missions, the DAP will continue to unwaveringly support Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in promoting reforms and implementing policies that benefit the nation and its people," says the Housing and Local Government Minister said in a statement on Tuesday (July 9),

Nga added that DAP’s 40 MPs in Parliament would continue to connect with communities to better understand public opinion from various perspectives.

“DAP will continue to dedicate itself to pursuing political achievements and earning the trust of the people while preparing for the next general election,” he said.
