Waterfalls in Perak back to normal levels

IPOH: Water flow at the Lata Kinjang and Lata Iskandar waterfalls in Batang Padang have returned to normal.

Perak Fire and Rescue Department operations division assistant director Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said gushing waters at the two waterfalls in the district had subsided as of Tuesday (may 14) morning.

"The current at Lata Iskandar was normal at 9am. We checked Lata Kinjang at about 10am, and it is also back to normal," he said on Tuesday (May 14).

Several videos of gushing water at the Lata Iskandar waterfall along Jalan Tapah-Cameron Highlands went viral on social media.

At the Lata Kinjang waterfall in Chenderiang, strong water currents damaged a fence at an observation bridge.
