Nearly RM40,000 worth of misappropriated diesel seized near Taiping


Enforcement officers raided the location where subsidised diesel was stored in Trong.

IPOH: A total of 5,510 litres of subsidised diesel valued at RM38,389 was seized by the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry under "Ops Tiris 3.0" at an oil palm plantation in Trong near Taiping.

Its Perak director, Datuk Kamalludin Ismail, said two men aged 28 and 56, believed to be the lorry driver, and the employer were arrested on suspicion of misappropriating subsidised diesel.
