Why invite a mediocre scholar at all, PM asks of Gilley controversy

SEPANG: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has lambasted US academic Bruce Gilley for criticising the country's support of Palestine.

“(A) mediocre scholar should not have been invited as a visiting professor in the first place," he said on the sidelines of the launch of the Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MAB) Academy and groundbreaking ceremony for the Flight Simulator Building at Sepang here on Friday (April 26).
