Ampang cops seize three vehicles for excessive modifications during traffic ops

KUALA LUMPUR: Three vehicles were seized during traffic operations in Bukit Ampang Saujana.

Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Azam Ismail said that the traffic operation focused on motorcycles and began at 11pm on Saturday (April 6).

"A total of six people in six vehicles were inspected and 20 summonses were issued for offences such as driving without a license, number plates that do not follow specifications, exhaust pipe modifications and other offences," he said in a statement on Sunday (April 7).

Three vehicles were seized for excessive modifications to their exhaust and for not having functioning brakes.

"Those vehicles have been brought back to the Ampang traffic police station for further action.

"With the upcoming Hari Raya holidays approaching, parents and guardians are reminded to strongly monitor the actions of their children. Love yourself and your family; remember this holiday is a time for happiness not pain," he said.
