Show us your report card, GRS' Armizan tells Bung

PUTRAJAYA: Instead of questioning what the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah-led government has done for the state, Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin should present his performance record to attest to the work he had done when he was in the administration, says a GRS leader.

Party deputy secretary-general Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali said Bung Moktar was the former state works minister but pointed out that the water project in the Papar constituency did not take off.

“What did he do? The water project in my constituency, which was planned since 2019 only started after I became the MP.

“He should make known his report card and let people know what he did in the two years he was in the state administration as a minister and deputy chief minister,” he said on Friday (April 5).

Armizan said that Sabah leaders were experienced and “old players” in politics.

“They know what to do and how to serve the people best. The people can evaluate.

“What is important is that we have plans on how to bring Sabah forward,” he said.

Armizan was commenting on Bung Moktar’s statement that the GRS government did not know what to do to develop the state.

The Sabah Umno chairman, who had been travelling the state, has been critical of the state government, often attacking it for what he claimed as failing infrastructure such as proper roads and water supply for the people.
