No fees for registering or updating details on Padu, says Economy Ministry

PETALING JAYA: There are no fees involved for registering and updating details on the Central Database Hub (Padu), says the Economy Ministry.

It also advised the public to be wary of "paid services" offering to register individuals' details on Padu.

"Besides wasting your money, your data will also be in their hands," it said in a statement uploaded to its social media accounts on Wednesday (March 27).

It added that those wanting to register for Padu at physical counters can contact the Statistics Department state offices.

The list of offices can be found at https://www.dosm.gov.my/portal-main/directory/

The last day to update profiles on Padu is March 31.
