Cops take statement from seven individuals over alleged murder of photographer


PETALING JAYA: Police here have taken statements from seven individuals over the alleged murder of a freelance photographer by a part-time model.

Kuala Langat OCPD Supt Ahmad Ridhwan Mohd Nor said those questioned include an individual who allegedly took a video after the victim was stabbed.

"I can confirm that one of the individuals questioned was a tenant at the house where the incident occurred. This individual took the video," he said when contacted on Wednesday (March 13).

Supt Ahmad Ridhwan said police have also seized a knife which was believed to have been used in the murder.

"The suspect is currently under police remand," he said.

Several videos have been circulated on social media that have allegedly been linked to the case.

It was reported that a jilted part-time model allegedly murdered her lover in a fit of rage, slashing his wrists with a sharp knife.

The woman is believed to have found out that her boyfriend was unfaithful.

She then rushed him to seek medical treatment.

However, despite doctors performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for at least 30 minutes, the victim was pronounced dead at the Cyberjaya Hospital.
