Man found dead in Port Klang after being run over by train


KLANG: A man was found dead after being run over by a train near Port Klang.

In a statement on Saturday (Feb 24), South Klang OCPD Asst Comm Cha Hoong Fong said that a MERS 999 call was made on Wednesday (Feb 21) where a complainant said that he had found a shirtless body on the train tracks there.

“The victim has been confirmed to be a 19-year-old foreigner,” he said.

The body was found with grievous injuries, believed to be from being run over by a train.

A post mortem confirmed that the death was due to severe lower limb injuries from the impact.

“As of now no signs of foul play have been found and a Sudden Death Report has been opened,” he said.
