Senior citizen's body found on Ampang shophouse roof


AMPANG: The body of a senior citizen was discovered on the roof of a Taman Pandan Cahaya shophouse at about 7.04pm on Friday (Feb 16).

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the deceased has been identified as 71-year-old B. Vadivalu.

He said in a statement on Saturday (Feb 17) that the victim was declared dead by medical officers at the scene and added that Vadivalu's body was brought to the ground before being handed over to the police.
