PETALING JAYA: In keeping with the promise to winners of the StarProperty Fair Buy & Win contest, four winners walked away with Guocera premium tile vouchers worth RM25,000 each during a prize-giving ceremony recently.

They were Cham Fung Ping, who purchased a unit in Anya Residences by OSK Property; Ho Woon Chin, who bought a unit in Le Pavilion at Pavilion Bandar Puteri by IOI Properties; Mohammad Aizuddin Zulkafli, who purchased a unit in Tropicana Paisley by Tropicana Corporation; and Sunita Morhan, who acquired a unit in Le Pavilion at Pavilion Bandar Puteri by IOI Properties.

The winners, who fulfilled the criteria to join the contest, were selected from the numerous buyers based on their slogans, said StarProperty general manager Mindy Chia.

Chia, in thanking Guocera for their partnership, said that StarProperty would continue to work with real estate industry partners to value add the buying experience of property buyers as well as to bring their brands to the target audience.

“We understand that buying a home is a very significant time and big investment for buyers and we would like to continue to ensure that their experience is enhanced with good memories,” she said.

The winners were ecstatic, saying they did not expect to win.

“I am happy and excited to have won,” said Sunita, adding that she would be renovating her property, which she bought during the StarProperty Fair held at IOI Puchong Mall.

Ho was also delighted, although she had already moved into her new home due to the duration of the contest.

Nevertheless, she was pleased with the selection of premium tiles and was mulling about renovating her existing home.

Aizuddin was surprised by the revised value of his windfall.

“It was a long wait, but the value of the prize is now RM25,000,” he said.

Cham was pleased because the unit she purchased was her first home, and the opportunity to incorporate Guocera premium tiles into her unit, to which she will receive keys in 2026, is something she will look forward to.

Moreover, she will have the opportunity to select the newer editions once Goucera’s new RM400mil factory rolls out the new designs.

Guocera managing director Sally Cheng was pleased to announce that the green light had been given to construct the new factory, which would be producing world-class Italian-designed tiles.

“We sourced our machinery from Italy, which is renowned for its exquisite tiles,” she told StarProperty, explaining that Guocera would meticulously adhere to the special requirements of manufacturing export-quality Italian tiles. With Guocera, property owners can get Italian premium tiles without having to source for them overseas, she added.
