PETALING JAYA: Majoriti 7, a publication that’s just over a year old, snagged a bronze award at this year’s Putra Aria Brand Awards.

The country’s first premium weekly Bahasa Malaysia newspaper won the accolade under the Media Networks category at the event held at the One World Hotel here last night.

Star Media Group senior general manager of product Chung Eng Lee said securing the recognition at the second edition of the awards is a source of immense pride to Majoriti 7, which debuted on Oct 20, 2022.

“Determined by consumers through the measurement of preference, this award underscores our team’s dedication to cultivating a brand that deeply resonates with our audience.

“It not only validates our efforts but also fuels our motivation to push boundaries and set new standards in the dynamic realm of media networks,” she said.

Guided by the ethos of “Adrenalin Metropolitan”, Majoriti 7 has consistently offered a distinctive perspective in this niche space, she added.

“This achievement further propels our commitment to excellence in the Media Networks category.

“We are sincerely honoured by this recognition,” said the SMG senior general manager.

The Putra Aria Brand Awards is organised by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) to honour marketers and brand builders.

In a statement yesterday, Majoriti 7 said the win is “testament to Majoriti 7’s continuous commitment” to a brand that resonates with audiences.
