Comedian Ahmad Hamdan of 'Senario' fame dies


PETALING JAYA: Local comedian Ahmad Hamdan Mohamed Ramli, or fondly known as Hamdan Senario, has died at the Sultan Aminah Hospital in Johor Baru.

News of the 54-year-old's death was confirmed by Azlee, his fellow cast member from the Senario TV series.

"Hamdan has just passed away at 12.50pm," he told mStar when contacted on Friday (Jan 5).

He added that Hamdan had been suffering from heart problems and was on a respirator for the past few days.

Hamdan's body will be taken back to his hometown in Ipoh for burial at 3pm.
