Floods: Johor records increase in evacuees Jan 5 morning


KUALA LUMPUR: The number of flood victims in Johor has increased to 1,481 people at 13 relief centres as of 6am Friday (Jan 5), up from 1,024 the night before.

According to the latest report from the National Disaster Management Agency’s (Nadma) National Disaster Command Centre, four relief centres in Johor Baru are housing 420 victims, while there are six centres in Kota Tinggi (720 victims), two in Mersing (271 victims) and one in Kluang (70 victims).
