Salleh Said Keruak spends Christmas carolling with constituents


PETALING JAYA: Christmas celebration is all colourful and festive in Sabah, says Datuk Seri Salleh Said Keruak who also spent time carolling with his constituents.

The Usukan state assemblyman in his latest Instagram post on Monday (Dec 25) was seen in a cheerful mood, taking photos and singing along to the famous Christmas song “Feliz Navidad”.

“In Sabah, we maintain our harmony. We celebrate all festivals and we respect all religions. It is important for us to be thankful because Malaysia is such a peaceful country.

“We can see how people of all religious backgrounds came here to celebrate Christmas, which shows the strong unity among Sabahans.

“I would like to wish Merry Christmas to those celebrating it, especially the people of Sabah,” the former Cabinet minister said in the post.

In one of the videos, Salleh who is also a former Sabah chief minister was seen taking photos with his constituents in Usukan, which is a state seat under the Kota Belud parliamentary area.

He was also seen taking photos in front of a big and colourful Christmas tree.

“Feliz Navidad. I wanna wish you a Merry Christmas. From the bottom of my heart,” read the caption of another video post by Salleh.
