Bung: I turned down Cabinet post, Sabah Umno not marginalised

KOTA KINABALU: Umno's Kinabatangan MP Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin claims he turned down an offer to be in the Federal Cabinet as he wanted to focus on the Sabah election that could be held as early as next year.

"Yes, I was offered (a post) but I declined because I wanted to focus on my responsibility as state Umno chairman to strengthen the party's position ... to face the upcoming 17th state election, " he said here on Friday (Dec 15).
