KUALA LUMPUR: Former health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah has been appointed as the new National Heart Institute (IJN) chairman effective Dec 1.

In a statement on Tuesday (Dec 12), IJN said the appointment marks an exciting chapter in its dedication to delivering exceptional healthcare and medical innovation to its patients, as Dr Noor Hisham brings with him a wealth of experience within the healthcare sector, helming top leadership roles throughout his career.
