Padang Rengas MP rushed to IJN after breaking out in cold sweat in Parliament

KUALA LUMPUR: Padang Rengas MP Captain Azahari Hasan has been taken to the National Heart Institute (IJN) after breaking out in a cold sweat and feeling uncomfortable while attending the Parliament sitting here.

However, a doctor's examination confirmed that he did not suffer a heart attack and was advised to rest for 24 hours.

His special officer, Norakmalina Abu Kassim, said Azahari is currently in good condition and no serious issues were reported after further examination at IJN, reported Sinar Harian.

On Wednesday (Oct 7) Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal was rushed to Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) for emergency treatment.

His office said Wan Ahmad was admitted for further treatment and is in stable condition.

It was not stated what he was suffering from and doctors have advised him to rest until he fully recovers.

Norakmalina said Azahari complained he was feeling uncomfortable at around noon and he was examined at the Parliament building clinic before the doctor called an ambulance.
