Kemaman by-election: 42pc voter turnout as of 1pm


CHUKAI: The voter turnout at the Kemaman by-election stood at 42 per cent as of 1pm on Saturday (Dec 2), according to Election Commission (EC) chairman Tan Sri Abdul Ghani Salleh.

All 49 polling stations have been open from 8am under sunny conditions in Kemaman, despite the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) forecasting rain in several areas throughout the day.
