Child abuse, STEM subjects focus of Parliament today


KUALA LUMPUR: Issues related to child abuse, the low participation of secondary students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects and poverty eradication are among the focus of the Dewan Rakyat sitting on Thursday (Oct 19).

According to the Order Paper on Parliament’s official website, Jimmy Puah Wee Tse (PH-Tebrau) will inquire about the steps taken by the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry to reduce the rising number of child abuse cases in the country.
