IPOH: A vegetarian Form Six student here has made the country proud by winning a gold medal in the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) World Championships in Finland.
Wong Wei Zheng, 18, a student at SMK St Michael, beat 25 other participants from various countries in the Junior Second Degree Black Belt Individual Pattern category in the championships that were held from Sept 5–10.
