SINGER Shila Amzah (pic) announced that she was quitting social media for the time being, Sinar Harian reported.

The 33-year-old celebrity said social media has become quite toxic lately.

“I will stop using social media momentarily. It is quite a toxic place for me. So, I will go away first,” she said.

While she did not share her reasons, many guessed that Shila was disappointed over comments from netizens, who criticised the dress she wore during “Konsert HausBoom Music 2023” on Sunday.

During the concert, Shila wore a cream-coloured t-shirt with a pink jacket. However, due to the active movements and the force of the wind, the jacket would always flap and reveal her body shape.

On top of that, the controversy involving her parents could also have been a factor behind her quitting social media.

>SONGSTRESS Aina Abdul revealed that she was not ready for love as she feared breaking the heart of the man who tried to get close to her, Harian Metro reported.

The 30-year-old admitted that it was hard for her to be approached as she was too focused on work and always accompanied by a large group while working.

“Maybe because I am often with a large group of people, people do not dare to approach me.

“Actually, it is hard to answer that question. I like things that other people don’t like, things that are different. Thus, finding someone who is a match is hard.

“I have several layers, like an onion. I don’t want to just be friends and end up breaking the heart of the other person,” she said.

The Jangan Mati Rasa Itu singer also refuted claims that she has a special someone in her life.

While she is open to be friends, the singer said that marriage is not in the works for now.
