Muhyiddin gives thumbs up after giving statement to cops

KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has left the building where he is believed to have given a statement to the police.

He was seen walking out of the building at around 10.25am on Tuesday (Sept 12).

When asked if the process had gone smoothly, Muhyiddin gestured with a thumbs up before entering his black MPV.

It was reported that Bukit Aman investigators would record Muhyiddin's statement in connection with an investigation into a recent ceramah by the former prime minister.

Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay was quoted as saying that Bukit Aman CID's Special Investigation Unit had already contacted the Perikatan Nasional chairman.

He added that two police reports have been lodged so far over the issue.
