Pulai polls: Police approve 41 campaign, ceramah permits

JOHOR BARU: Police here have approved 41 campaign and ceramah permits for the Pulai Parliamentary and Simpang Jeram state seat by-elections.

Johor police by-election spokesman Supt Ibrahim Mat Som said the authority has approved a total of 182 permits from the total of 190 applications received from Aug 26 until Sept 1 with two investigation papers being opened.

“On Friday (Sept 1), the police approved eight ceramah permits and 21 campaign permits for Pulai, while 11 ceramah permits and one campaign permit were approved for Simpang Jeram," he said.
